Entrepreneurship Development

The objective of this program is to help equip minority at-risk youth with essential business and critical thinking/problem solving competencies. The goal is to give them tangible tools through hands-on teaching and application of fundamentals using real business strategies. The curriculum covers three critical areas that many at-risk youth will need in order to run a successful business:

  • Financial Literacy/Independence
  • Economic Productivity
  • Leadership Effectiveness

Mentoring

Structured mentoring has proven to be an effective tool in positively impacting the lives of at-risk youth. The Primary goals of our mentoring program is to:

  • Influence youth to make positive decisions through mature guidance and establishing safe, trusting relationships
  • Connect youth to tangible opportunities and culturally revelant role models which further thier academic performance, pro-social interaction, and aspiration towards higher achievement
  • Help youth develop a self-conscious adherence to moral ethical principles as it relates to diversity, relationships, and life circumstances
  • Successfully connect and interact with at-risk youth while creating a safe environment
